Movies with Brendan – Adding a little Soul to the New Year

Presenting the first review of 2021. This is Soul.

Soul is about Joe. A music band teacher who has a dream to play a piano in front of a live audience. As soon as Joe finally is about to  get a chance to make his dreams a reality Joe dies.   He teams up with a friend named 22 to try to get back to earth.

The exciting  part of this movie is the animation. It is a mix of 2d and 3d together and it is amazing. The main character is Joe and he is very relatable.  Lets talk about the music…. OMG  the music is breathtaking and I have la la land vibes.

I give it 10 out of 10 because Soul is very similar to Coco because they both have great music and a great message. Soul is an original movie and is not for younger kids even though it is animated because it is a little too deep. I recommend this for old kids, teens and adults.

Soul is one of Disney’s best. I would like to say “Bravo Disney, Bravo”. I smell a another Oscar win for Disney.
