Zack Gottsagen Becomes the First Award Presenter with Down Syndrome on the Oscars

Earlier this year we told you about the film “Peanut Butter Falcon” which was on of the most heartwarming films of the year. The story for star of the movie, Zack Gottsagen continued last night as he appeared with co-star Shia LeBeouf to present the award for the best live action short film. At first you might not know why that is so significant. Leading up to the Oscars there was a major push to try and get some nominations for Peanut Butter Falcon. While that didn’t end up happening, history was still made as Zack become the first person with Down Syndrome to be an award presenter at the Oscars.
