Residents and staff have officially returned to their Locust Valley home, marking a significant milestone in the community’s journey of recovery and resilience.
The reopening represents more than the restoration of a residence—it is a celebration of hope, perseverance, and the unwavering support of the surrounding community. Residents and staff were overjoyed to return home and expressed deep appreciation for the encouragement and kindness shown by neighbors, supporters, and community partners throughout the rebuilding process.
This milestone would not have been possible without the generosity and dedication of so many individuals who rallied together during a challenging time. Their support helped ensure that residents could once again return to a place they call home.
A special thank you is extended to Nassau County Legislator Samantha A. Goetz for presenting a citation commemorating this meaningful occasion and recognizing the collective efforts that made the reopening possible.
