Rockville Centre Book Store Provides Individuals That Are Differently Abled With Valuable Employment Experience

Family Residences and Essential Enterprises, Inc. (FREE) announced a partnership with Turn of the Corkscrew, Books and Wine to provide individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities from their day programs with valuable retail employment experience during this busy Holiday Season. On Tuesday, December 8, members of the “Bethpage Wrappers” Gift Wrapping Club will be working at Turn of the Corkscrew, located at 110 N. Park Avenue in Rockville Centre, NY, as gift wrappers. Media are invited to attend and help raise awareness about the importance of providing jobs and job experience to individuals who are overcoming their disabilities and finding their place in the competitive job market.
