Long Island Drum Company to Donate Instruments to Musicians With Autism and Other Disabilities for Holiday Season Celebration

Drumline Will Perform in Exhibition at the WGI World Championships in 2014

 

Long Island based musicians with autism and other disabilities will receive drum equipment from Long Island based drum manufacturer D’Addario & Co. as a free holiday gift they will use to perform in exhibition at the 2014 WGI World Championships. The presentation of the equipment, featuring a performance of the FREE Drumline, will be on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Family Residences and Essential Enterprises, Inc. in Old Bethpage, 191 Bethpage-Sweet Hollow Road.

 

The drum company is donating drum sticks and skins as well as personalized bass drum heads in the spirit of the holiday season. Family Residences and Essential Enterprises, Inc. (FREE) is a not-for-profit that benefits and proudly supports more than 3,500 individuals with intellectual disabilities, mental illness and traumatic brain injuries. D’Addario is the company that owns the Evan’s Drum Heads and Pro Mark Sticks brands.
