Adelante of Suffolk County to Hold Valentine’s Day Party for Members of Their Senior Citizens Program

On Wednesday, February 14th, at 11:00 a.m., Adelante of Suffolk County (Adelante) will be hosting a Valentine’s Day party for members of their Senior Citizens program located at 10 Third Avenue, Brentwood. Adelante will be decorated for the occasion and the seniors will be able to eat, sing, dance, and have a great time together. The festivities will be capped with a Valentine’s Day cake.

Adelante, an affiliate of Family Residences and Essential Enterprises, Inc. (FREE) believes the main purpose of their Senior Program is to provide a space where the seniors can find companionship with one another. Adelante has found that the Seniors love music, dancing and a family atmosphere. Adelante also transports 90% of their seniors round trip from home to senior center. Through the Suffolk County AAA program Adelante takes them grocery shopping, to Family assist program twice monthly, and to doctors’ appointments as needed within their program hours.

Adelante of Suffolk County, Inc. is a not-for-profit multi-service community-based organization that provides services to the culturally diverse communities of Suffolk County in the areas of health, education, employment, supported housing, youth leadership development, volunteerism and culture.
