Adelante of Suffolk County Celebrates 50 Years of Service to the Community

On Thursday, May 5, Adelante of Suffolk County, Inc. (Adelante), a not-for-profit agency with a focus to inspire forward movement in the lives of the diverse people of the community they serve, will be holding their 50th Anniversary Gala at the Watermill at 71 Smithtown Bypass in Smithtown, NY.

Adelante’s 50th Anniversary Gala celebrates Adelante being rooted in the community for 50 years. They provide such services as Supported Housing & Case Management; Mental Hygiene (Life Skills, Vocational & Drop-in Center); Family and Youth Services; Housing and Tenant Counseling Services; Nutrition Program for the Elderly; Educational, Career Counseling and Youth Leadership; After School Program; and Medicaid Service Coordination Program.

 

Adelante is an affiliate of Family Residences and Essential Enterprises, Inc. (FREE), a not-for-profit agency that supports more than 4,000 individuals with intellectual disabilities, mental illness and traumatic brain injury.
