Special Needs Jazz Group Makes History as First of its Kind to Perform at Nassau County State of the County Address

On Wednesday, March 11, the Family Residences and Essential Enterprises, Inc. (FREE) FREE Players Jazz Ensemble, a group of differently-abled individuals who participate in FREE’s theater day program, will make history as they perform at the Nassau County State of the County Address at Twin Rinks, located in Eisenhower Park at 200 Merrick Avenue in East Meadow, NY. This is the first time a special needs choral group has been chosen to perform at this prestigious event.

 

The Address will be carried live on News12 and FiOS1 at 7:00 p.m. Members of the media are asked to arrive by 6:15 p.m. with NCPD press credentials. If any members of the media do not have credentials and are interested in attending, please contact Katie Grilli-Robles at (516) 571-4225.
