NYSADSP Star Awards

FREE prides itself on having top of the line Valued Team Members who are capable of providing the utmost care for the people we support.

We would like to make special recognition of two of these incredible team members whose excellence has been recognized by the New York State Association of Day Service Providers (NYSADSP).

Congratulations to Valencia Dunn, Habilitation Specialist at Day Services East, who received the NYSADSP Star Awards for Direct Support Professionals for the LI/NYC region and Maureen Roache, Program Coordinator at Day-Hab Bethpage, who received the NYSADSP Star Awards for Frontline Supervisor for the LI/NYC region.  Value of Quality

NAMI Fundraiser and Walk for #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth

Thank you to all who made this year’s NAMI Fundraiser a great success!  The guest-bartending event at Monaghans Irish Restaurant in Rockville Centre raised $1860 for the cause!  The walk at Jones Beach was also a huge success, and the weather could not have been better!  Values of Quality, Stewardship, & Interdependence

Fancy FREE threw a surprise Baby Shower for their Program Coordinator, Letty Francis, on her last day before going on maternity leave.  We are so thrilled to announce that baby Ethan and Letty are doing just great, and we look forward to her return in a few months!

 

Amityville on Safari

Community outings are always a blast for our residents, and Amityville had the opportunity to take a special trip to the Bronx Zoo!  The men and women enjoyed a fun day learning about all of the animals and taking advantage of all of the other fun activities that the zoo has to offer!  Values of Quality
