33rd Annual Celebration of Life Gala

The 33rd Annual Celebration of Life Gala will be held on Friday, October 22, 2010, 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., Crest Hollow Country Club, Woodbury. Gala honorees are Lenore and Gerald Rudnet. The fundraising event will be hosted by our affiliated foundation, the National Foundation for Human Potential and it celebrates the accomplishments of children and adults with autism. The event includes a cocktail hour from 6:30 to 7:30, dinner, dancing, live music, a live auction and exciting raffle prizes. Tickets are $395.

Special Olympics

special-olympics-1Athletes from FREE’s residential and day services program join with athletes from the community to participate in a variety of Special Olympics athletic, adaptive and bowling events. To accommodate the needs, abilities, and interests of the special athletes, a full spectrum of training club choices, such as track and field, soccer, bowling, bocce, golf, and basketball are offered each season of competition.
