On Wednesday, October 29, 2003, the Alliance of Long Island Agencies welcomed Governor George Pataki to Family Residences & Essential Enterprises, Inc.’s Hauppauge office, where he signed into law a bill that will eventually provide every agency with the authority to receive criminal background checks on prospective employees.
